Procedure: continuation of parliament
Ordains the parliament to be fenced and continued
The which day, the king's majesty, with advice of the lords of his privy council and others of his estates, for certain great and weighty causes and considerations moving them, have deliberated, concluded and ordained that his highness's parliament proclaimed to be held at Edinburgh on 10 July 1578 shall be there fenced that day and therefore continued to be held and [to] proceed at Stirling in his highness's own presence on 15 July 1578; and ordains commission to be directed to this effect in due form as is appropriate.
