In the parliament of the most excellent prince our lord, the lord James V, by the grace of God most illustrious king of Scots, held at Edinburgh on 29 April 1536, by the noble and powerful lords George [Gordon], earl of Huntly, lord Badenoch, Archibald [Campbell], earl of Argyll, lord Campbell and Lorne, Sir James Hamilton of Finnart, Sir James Colville of Easter Wemyss, Master James Foulis of Colinton, clerk of the rolls, register and council of our supreme lord the king, and Thomas Scott of Pitgorno, justice clerk, commissioners deputed by special commission of our supreme lord the king, with William [Keith], earl Marischal, John Pardovan, key keeper for [William Hay, earl of Erroll], constable, Master William Mowbray, sheriff deputy, and John Anderson, dempster. On the which day the suits [were] called [and] the court fenced.
