Judicial proceeding: continuation of summons

On the which day Archibald [Douglas], earl of Angus, George Douglas, his brother, and Archibald Douglas,2 often called by a royal summons under testimony of the great seal directed thereupon for answering personally to the said lord our king in the present parliament concerning certain treasonous actions contained in the said summons, and not compearing, it was continued to Saturday, 5 September instant, with continuation of days, in the same form as it is now, without prejudice to the parties.
