Parliament of the most excellent prince and our lord, the lord James V, by the grace of God most illustrious king of Scots, held and begun at Edinburgh on 2 September 1528 by the lords commissioners written below, namely [George Leslie], earl of Rothes, Robert [Maxwell], lord Maxwell, William [Sempill], lord Sempill, John [Hay], lord Hay of Yester, George [Lindsay], lord St John, William Scott of Balwearie, knight, and Nicholas Crawford of Oxgangs, justice clerk, along with Gilbert Wauchope of Niddrie-[Marischal], deputy of [William Keith], earl Marischal, Patrick Baron [of Spittalfield], deputy of the constable [William Hay, earl of Erroll], Andrew Dalmahoy, sergeant, and John Anderson, dempster. On the which day, the suits were called and the court was fenced.
