2Ratifies and approves the contract and agreement made between Archibald Douglas [of Kilspindie], treasurer to our sovereign lord, provost of Edinburgh, and James Acheson, goldsmith, master coiner, touching the striking and printing of money, gold and silver, in all points and articles after the form and tenor of the said contract, of which the tenor follows, at Edinburgh, 30 October 1526, it is appointed and agreed.

Our sovereign lord, with the advice, authority and consent of the three estates of his realm in this present parliament, ratifies and approves all acts and statutes made before in favour of a venerable father in God, Dean John Maxwell, abbot of Dundrennan, regarding the abbacy of Melrose against Master Andrew Durie or otherwise, and especially the act and decreet last given against the said Master Andrew, of which the tenor follows: [...]4

[Abstract:] On the which day the king in parliament, with the consent of the three estates, for the common profit and for augmentation of his rentals, etc., confirms the donations and grant given to James Dunbar of Tullyglennis concerning the lands of Easter Tarbat, with the fishing, in the earldom of Ross, sheriffdom of Inverness, as in a royal charter of 21 August 1526, notwithstanding any prior annexations, etc.

Our sovereign lord, with the advice and consent of the three estates of his realm, grants that if it shall happen that John Stirling of the Keir, knight, be forfeited in this present parliament, that the sum of money, namely [...], owing to Alison Home, daughter to the late Alexander [Home], lord Home, be reserved in the said forfeiture.

Ratifies and approves the charter, gift and infeftment of the lands of Camore, lying within the earldom of Ross, made to his familiar servant Robert Gibb, in feuferme, in all points and articles after the form and tenor of the said charter and date.

Our sovereign lord, with the advice, authority and consent of the three estates of his realm in this present parliament, ratifies and approves the charter and new infeftment made to John Grierson of the Lag of his lands of the Lag, mill, tower and fortalice thereof, the lands of McRathishill,9 Dalgarnokholmis,10 the yards and mill thereof, the superiority of the lands of Grennan, Blackmyre, the Shaws, otherwise called Messengers lands and Fisher lands, with tenants, tenantries thereof, lying within the sheriffdom of Dumfries, the lands of Rokkell11 and Collyne12 and mill thereof, and Kirkbriderig within the stewartry of Annandale, the lands called between the waters of Dalskairth, Holme, Reidbank,13 Ardmolloch,14 Marthrown, Woodhead and mill thereof, with the superiority of the lands of Auchenfranco and Barquhar, with tenants, tenantries etc., the lands of Dalcallach,15 Holme, Coryardloch,16 Drumiowane17 and Loukfurd,18 with their pertinents, lying within the stewartry of Kirkcudbright, which were the said John's heritably of before, of which charter the tenor follows: [...]

[Abstract:] On the which day the king in his parliament, with consent of the three estates, for the common profit, etc., confirms the grant and lease made to Joachim Hechscatter, Quentin de Lawitz, Gerald Sterk, Erasmus Schetis and Anthony Nibetus, and their heirs, of all the mines or diggings of gold, silver and other metals, as in their lease for the space of 43 years made at Edinburgh, 17 July 1526, and mandates confirmatory letters under the great seal.
