Procedure: dispute between the earls of Eglinton and Glencairn
Cuthbert [Cunningham], earl of Glencairn asked for documents that my lord [James Hamilton, earl] of Arran declared that, if [Hugh Montgomery], earl of Eglinton would not take friends and cause come to an agreement regarding all debatable matters between the said Earls of Eglinton and Glencairn, that the said Earl of Eglinton should neither have the said Earl of Arran's heart nor his help in time to come. At the tenth hour.
