Act for two fairs and a weekly mercat in favors of Patrick Campbell of Monzie

Our sovereign lady and estates of parliament, considering that fairs and mercats in convenient places tend much to the good and advantage of the inhabitants thereof and of her majesties' other leidges dwelling near thereto, and that it is very fit for these ends two2 authorize two yearly fairs and a weekly mercat, on the dayes following, to be kept upon the common green of Monzie, in the shire of [...],3 and belonging to Patrick Campbell of Monzie, do therefore, by thir presents, appoint two fairs yearly to be kept, in all time comeing, one thereof to begin upon the first Tuesday of April, to be called [...], and the other to begin on the thirteenth day of October, to be called [...], and each of them to continue two dayes, and a weekly mercat to be holden, in all time comeing, on every Tuesday, upon the said common green of Monzie. And have given and granted and hereby give and grant to the said Patrick Campbell, his heirs and successors, the right and priviledge of keeping the said two yearly fairs and weekly mercat for all kinds of merchandice, with all the tolls, customes and casualities thereof, and all other liberties, priviledges and advantages used and wont to belong to any haveing the priviledge of keeping fairs and mercats within this kingdom.
