Judicial Proceedings: case for remedy at law called
The action upon a protest for remedy at law of Sir Thomas Dalziel of Binns against the Lady Caldwell and her husband being moved, the procurators for either party were ordained to be ready for the next sederunt of parliament for private business, the same being then to be taken into consideration prior to all other.
Procedure: act read, voted and approved
Thereafter the act in favour of the burgh of Kirkcaldy, again read and, after some additions and amendments, the vote was put, approve of the act or not, and it carried approve.
Procedure: adjournment
Then the lord chancellor, by order of her majesty's high commissioner, adjourned the parliament until Wednesday next at 10 o'clock.
