Thereafter the following addresses were given in and read, namely address by the provost, bailies, town council and burgesses of the burgh of Forfar, subscribing the same; address of the heritors and commons in the parish of Cambusnethan, subscribing the same; address of the heritors, elders and heads of families of the parish of Cambuslang, subscribers of the same; address of the heritors, session and inhabitants of the parish of Kilbride, subscribing the same; address of the heritors, elders and masters of families in the parish of Bothwell, subscribers of the same; and an address by the heritors and commons in the parish of Old Monkland, subscribing the same, all against entering into a union with England in the terms of the articles.
