Procedure: act voted and approved; overture read
Moved that the act naming public ministers for Scotland to be present at foreign treaties wherein the kingdom may be concerned, be again read, which was accordingly done and, after some debate and amendments made upon the act, it was put to the vote, approve the act or delay the further consideration thereof, and carried approve the act.
Overture for an act appointing a fund for defraying the charges and expenses of the public ministers to be named by her majesty to attend the foreign treaties, read, and a first reading marked thereon.
Procedure: adjournment
Then the lord chancellor, by order of her majesty's high commissioner, adjourned the parliament until Thursday next at 10 o'clock.
