Minutes of the last sederunt read.
The lord register did take the oath of faithful administration in the usual manner.
[John Gordon], earl of Sutherland did take the oath of allegiance and subscribed the same with the assurance and took the oath of parliament.
Procedure: precedency
Moved that Alexander Bothwell, now served and retoured heir to the last Lord Holyroodhouse, may be marked in the rolls of parliament conforming to his precedency.
Ordered that the writs produced for instructing thereof may lie in the clerks' hands, that the members may have inspection thereof.
