Procedure: act read, voted and approved
The act anent peace and war being read a second time, the question was stated approve the act or not, and being put to the vote it was carried in the affirmative.
Procedure: draft acts read for commission for public account
The draft of an act and commission for examining the public accounts given in and read, and ordered to be marked a first reading.
Another draft of an act to the same purpose given in and read, and both these drafts ordained to be printed for information of the members.
Agreed that the number of the commissioners be five of each estate, and that no person who can be accountable can be chosen a member of the commission.
Procedure: overture read and to lie on the table
An overture by way of act anent the qualifications of the members of parliament, read and given in and ordered to lie on the table.
Procedure: adjournment
The lord chancellor, by order of her majesty's high commissioner, adjourned the parliament until Monday next at 10 o'clock.
