The lord high commissioner signified to the estates that in regard a great many of the commissioners from the royal burghs were to meet in the convention of burghs this week at the burgh of Glasgow, he thought fit to adjourn the parliament for some days; and accordingly the lord chancellor, by order of the lord high commissioner, adjourned the parliament until Saturday next at 10 o'clock.
