The act for security proceeded in and a clause offered comprehending both the clauses which were formerly under consideration, and there being another draft offered of the same clause with some alteration, after much debate upon these clauses the vote was at length stated, proceed or delay; and carried delay.

The lord chancellor, by order of her majesty's high commissioner, adjourned the parliament until Monday next at 10 o'clock.
