At Stirling on 18 September 1489 our lord king James IV, by the grace of God the most illustrious, was present with these lords Colin [Campbell], earl of Argyll, chancellor, [Patrick Hepburn], earl of Bothwell, [James Stewart, earl of] Buchan, [Laurence Oliphant], lord Oliphant, [John Drummond, lord] Drummond, [William Knollis, lord] St John, [John Hepburn], prior of St Andrews, Alexander Home of that Ilk, great chamberlain, [Richard Muirhead], clerk register, Master Alexander Inglis, archdeacon of St Andrews.
