Act in favours of Lord Bellenden

Forasmuch as be publict order of the then pretendit committie of estates in the yeer 1651 it is appointed that one hundreth pund[s] should be payed to Sir William Bellenden, now designed Lord Bellenden, out of the moneys then gathered for his majesties' use, and his majestie considering that the Lord Bellenden hes wanted payment therof now for the space of eleven yeers and that, dureing that tyme, he hes been subject to many hardships and sufferings for his affection and adherence to his majesties' interest; his majestie hes therfor, with advice and consent of his estates in parliament, and in leiu of the former order, appointed and heirby appoints tuo hundreth punds sterline to be payed to the said Lord Bellenden out of the readiest of the tuo moneths' mantenance formorly imposed and now raised for his majesties' use, be order past in this parliament, wheranent these shall be to all persones concerned sufficient warrand.
