Report from the conference anent ane list to be maid off rootmasters and captaines of the present levie approvin.

2Paper from the toun of Edinburgh anent the fortifieing of Leith redd and remitted to the severall bodyes.

3Paper anent the quartering of the officiars with the troupes remitted to the severall bodyes.

Ordanes the severall bodyes and the subcomittee for the conference to meitt this night and the morrow at sevin hours; and the parliament to meitt the morrow at ten hours, and to sitt all day till they conclud the act of levie.

4Ordanes the liuetenent generall to leave on[e] troup in the north, both for securing the cuntrie and furthering out of the levie, and to appoynt the officiars of that troup to give ordour to a partie to convey the vicount of Frendraught to the laird of Eight's troup, whiche is appoynted to ly in Angus, and he to transport him to any troup lying in Perth shyre and they to transport him to the toun of Edinburgh, and that they have a cair of him that he escaip not as they will be ansuerable.
