In the parliament of the most excellent prince and our lord, the lord James III, by the grace of God most illustrious king of Scots, held and begun at Edinburgh on 11 January 1487 [1488] and the 28th year of the reign of the aforesaid supreme lord our king, on which day, with the suits being called and the court fenced, the absentees were made public.
