Act in favors of the shyrefdome of Angus

The estaits of parliament, taking into thair consideratioun the suplicatioun givine in to them be the shyr of Angus, they have ordainit and ordanis thair proportion to be imposed according to the locallitie of the shyrs allreadie sett doune, whilk is in Mr Thomas Hendersounis handis; and recommends to the generall commissar and generall quarter master to sie the samyne done. And ordanis the generall officers to reduce the troups and companys to thair just number, and that the shyrs bear equall burding of transient quarterings according to ther mantinance, and that the former act maid thairanent be revived. And for bygane transient quarterings and locall quarterings, ordanis the generall commissar to sie the samyne satisfied, conforme to the act of parliament. And statuts and ordanis that no exemptiouns from quarterings [are] to be grantit or respected without consent of the committie of war of the shyrs. And that the commissioun for purgeing of the armie and represing of insolencies of officers and souldiours be issued furth with expeditioun and put in executioun. And the saids estaits declairs that the afoirsaid premises shall be without prejudice of a constant localitie to be condiscendit on.
