Procedure: preamble
The parliament of the most excellent prince and lord, our lord James III, by the grace of God most illustrious king of Scots, held and begun at Edinburgh on 16 February 1483 [1484], on which day, with the suits called, the court fenced, the absentees are made public in the rolls of suits.
