Procedure: preamble
The court of parliament of our supreme lord the king James III, by the grace of God most illustrious king of Scots, held at Edinburgh in the tolbooth of the same on 2 August 1480 by the lords commissioners of our lord the king specially deputed thereto and having sufficient power thereon, the suits called, the court fenced, the absentees made clear.
