Judicial proceedings: acts of the lords auditors of causes and complaints

In the action and cause pursued by Master William Auchinleck, parson of Kinkell, on the one part, against Andrew Allanson, Walter Fraser, John Glenning, John Simpson, Andrew Mathison [...] on the other part concerning the wrongful withholding of certain sums of money for the teinds of the prebend of Kinkell of the last year past, both the said parties being present themselves and their procurators, and their reasons and allegations seen, heard and understood at length, the lords of auditors of complaints decree and deliver that the said Andrew Allanson, John Simpson, Andrew Mathison, Thomas Duncan, John of Kinnear, John Baxter and Gavin of Myll shall satisfy and pay to the said Master William the sum of 30 merks; Andrew Shearer, William Philipson, Nicol Hervy and William Garioch, nine merks and a half; Isobel Shearer, six merks; Thomas Sampson, John Robert, John Thomson, six merks; William Garioch, David Garioch, six merks and a half; William Fowler and Andrew Beldiston, six merks; David Collison and Ronald Dis, six merks; Adam Anderson, six merks; David Ogilvy, seven merks, and the said Ronald Dis, six merks, which they admitted they had taken up from the teinds of the said prebend of the said year, and ordain that letters be written to distrenzie them of their lands and goods for that.

The lords decree and deliver that Robert of Lauder of Edrington shall satisfy and pay William of Millhouse[?] and Mirabel, his mother, the sum of 5 [...], the freight of certain timber of the king's cart by the late Millhouse from Findhorn[?] to the port of Leith because the [...] freighted the said Henry's ship, as he admits himself [...] written to distrenzie him for this, and if the said Robert has payment [...] from the king he is to have regress to his highness.
