On which day also - several things being discussed concerning the estate of the lord king and the profit of the kingdom and the state - by mandate of the lord king and the chancellor, [Thomas Boyd], earl of Arran, constable in this place specially constituted by the lord king, continued the present parliament to the following day, namely 13 October, an announcement of this being publicly proclaimed.
