Petition: in favour of Sir John Veitch of Dawyck
Sir Johne Veitche

The quhilk day Sir John Veitch offered to the estats that they giveing him power to intromett with the earle of Traquaires rent for the crope 1643, he would not onelie pay all publict dues with the annualrent of lawful creditors, bot would presently give in to the publict ane thousand punds sterlin. Quhilk offer the estats accepted and granted his desyre.
