To his sacred majestie and the honorable hous of parliament,

The humble petitioun of Lodovick, earle of Crawfurd humblie desyreth that your majestie and the honorable hous of parliament for his releisment of his long imprissonment, this being the last day of the sitting of the parliament. Therfoir he humblie craveth ane spedie and gratiouse answer, and sall evir remaine

This supplicatione being moved to the king's majestie and estats of parliament, they ordaine the supplicant to be putt to friedome and libertie, the Marquis of Hamiltone, the Erles of Argyle and Lanerk they earnestltie intreating the3 kingis majestie and estaittis wald liberate the supplicant and all others who wer restrained upon the late 'Incident'.
