Protestatioun Erle of Lauderdaill againes the toune of Mussilburghes ratificatione
In presence of the kingis majestie and estates of parliament Johne, erle of Lauderdaill, being personallie present, protestit that the ratificacatioune granted in this present parliament in favoures of the toune of Mussillburghe of ther rightes and infeftmentes thairinmentionat should be allwayes but prejudice to him and his successoures anent the rights, priviledges and infeftmentes granted to him, his predicessoures and authours anent his and there infeftmentes, rightes, jurisdictiones, priviledges and otheres therinconteyned; and therwpoun askit instrumentes.
