Ratificatione in favoures of the toune of Lanark

Our soverane lord and estates of parliament ratifies, approves and confirmes to and in favoures of the proveist, baillies, deane of gild, thesaurer, counsell and commontie of the burghe of Lanarke and ther successoures the chartour of confirmatione, with the new gifte and dispositione thairinconteaned, precept and instrument of seasing falloweing therwpoun made, given and granted in ther favoures be our said soverane lord, wnder his hienes great seale, with advyse and consent of his majesties thesaureres principall and deput and remanent lordis of his hienes exchekker of the kingdome of Scotland, his majesties commissioneres, of the dait at Whythall, the tuentie day of Februare, j^M vj^C therttie tua yeeres, wherby his majestie, with consent foirsaid, ratified, approved and confirmed the chartoures, infeftmentes and otheres rightes, tytles and securities particularlie and generallie thairinmentionat, made, givine and granted be his hienes predicessoures of worthie memorie to the saidis proveest, baillies, counsell and commontie of the said burghe of Lanarke and ther successoures off all and haill the samene burghe, with the landis, houss, biggingis, toftes, croftes, infeeldis, outfeeldis, commoun pasturages, moss, mures, maressis, peitpots, wodis, fishingis, coillheuches, coilles, alterages, advocationes, donatiounes, presentationes, priviledges, liberties, offices and otheres particularlie and generallie thairinexprest; and alse of new gave, granted and disponit to the saidis proveist, baillies, counsell and commontie of the said burghe of Lanarke and thair successoures all and haill the samene burgh, with all and sindrie landis, houss, biggingis, yairdis, toftes, croftes, infeeldis, outfeilds, commone pasturages, moss, mures, peitpotts, marress, woodis, fishingis of salmond and other fishingis, coilles, coallheuches, quarrelles, lyme, lymestone, office of shereffshipe, priviledges, liberties and otheres particularlie and generallie mentionat and conteaned in the said chartour, to be haldine of our said soverane lord and his hienes successoures in ane free burghe royal for evir, for payment yeerlie of sex merkes sterling money, as being the old burghe maill, and with service of burghe usit and wont; and for the frier landis, alterages and otheres exprest in the said chartour, the soume of tua merkes usuall money of Scotland in name of fewferme, as in the said chartour, precept and instrument of seasing falloweing therwpoun at mair lenth is conteanit in all and sindrie heedis, articles, clauss, conditiones and circumstances whatsomevir mentionat and conteaned in the said chartour, precept and instrument of seasing falloweing thairwpoun. Attoure, our said soverane lord and estates of parliament willis and grantes and, be thir presentes, decernes and ordeanes that the said act of ratificatione and generalitie therof is and shall be of als great availl, force, strenth and effect to the saidis proveistes, baillies, counsell and commontie of the said burghe of Lanarke and ther successoures as if the said chartour, precept and instrument of seasing falloweing therwpoun wer all at lenth word be word ingrossit and insert heirintill; quhairanent, and with all other objectiones, defects and imperfectiones that may be proponit or alledged aganes the validitie of the said chartour, precept and instrument of seasing, or of this ratificatione thairof, our said soverane lord and estates of parliament hes dispensit and be thir presentes dispenses for now and evir.
