Ratificatione in favoures of Johne Hammiltoune of Boighall

Our soverane lord, for himselfe and as father, laufull administrator, tutor, guydor and governor to his hienes darrest sone, Charles, prince of Scotland and Wailles, stewart of Scotland, duike of Rothsay, Cornwall etc., erle of Carrike, Kyle and Cunynghame, lord of the Yle, barrone of the barrony of Renfrew etc., superiour of the landis and otheres wnderwrittin perteaneing to the principalitie and estates of this present parliament, ratifies and approves the chartour and infeftment made and granted be our said soverane lord, for himselfe and as father, laufull tutor and administrator to his hienes said darrest sone, the prince, superior foirsaid, with advyse and consent of his hienes thesaureres principall and deputie for the tyme and remanent lordis of his hienes exchequer of Scotland, his hienes commissioneres, to Johne Hammiltoun of Carlourie and umquhile Helene Home, his spous, the langest liver of them tua, in conjunctfie, ther aires and assigneyes therinconteaned heritablie, off all and haill the toune and landis of Lochtulloche and Deanis, and off all and haill the landis of Boighall with the maner place and outset thairof callit Craigshinney and mylne of Lochtulloche, mylnelandis and multores thairof, with all and sindrie maner places, houss, biggingis, yairdis, orchyairdis, parkes, woodis, fishingis, midowes, mures, moss, toftes, croftes, outsettes, insettis, annexis, connexis, tennentes, tennendries, service of free tennentes, pairtes, pendicles, priviledges and pertinentes, perteaneing and belonging to the saidis landis of Lochtulloche, Deaine and Boighall, mylne of Lochtulloche and mylne landis therof, or to ony pairt of the samene, lyand within the parochine and shereffdome of Bathgaite, and of old be annexatione within the shereffdome of Renfrew, and made and granted to the said Johne Hammiltoun, his aires and assigneyes thairincontenit heritablie; off all and haill the toune and landis of Starlaw, with the houss, biggingis, yairds, mures, midowes, moss, toftes, crofts, outsets, tennentes, tennendries, service of free tennentes, pairtes, pendicles, priviledges and pertinentes thairof lyand within the parochine and shereffdome foirsaids wpoun the resignatione of umquhile Johne Lawsone of Boighall, to whom the samene perteaned of befor heritabllie; and the new gifte and dispositione conteaned in the said chartour and unioun, creatione and erectione of the saidis haill tounes and landis, mylne, mylne landis and otheres abovewrittin, with the pertinentes, in ane haill and free barony to be callit the barrony of Boighall in tymecomeing, to be holdine of his hienes darrest sone, the prince, and his successoures princes and stewartes of Scotland in free heritadge, free barrony, free blensche ferme in maner specified in the said chartour, quhilke is wnder his majesties great seale of the dait the sevinteene day of December, the yeer of God j^M vj^C therttie one yeeres, and the procuratorie and instrument of resignatione wheron the said chartour proceedit, and the precept and seasing falloweing thairwpon, off whatsomevir daites, tenour, contentes the samene procuratorie and instrument of resignatione, precept and seasing be of or beeres, in all and sindrie the heedis, poyntes, clauss, articles, circumstances, and conditiones thairinconteaned, and efter the forme and tennoures thairof in all poyntes. And our said soverane lord, for himselfe and as father, laufull administratour and tutor to his hienes said darrest sone, the prince, superiour foirsaid, for there hieness and there successoures, and the saidis estates of parliament, statutes, decernes and ordeanes that this present ratificatione of the said chartour and of the saidis procuratorie and instrument of resignatione wheron the samene proceedit, precept and seasing falloweing therwpoun is and shall be alse valied and sufficient and of als great force, strenth and effect to the said Johne Hammiltoune and his foirsaidis as if the samene chartour and rightes heerby ratified were all at lenth de verbo in verbum insert and conteaned thairintill, notwithstanding that the samene be not sua done; quhairanent, and with all other defectes and imperfectiones whilkis may be proponit or alledged aganes the said chartour and rightes foirsaids, or any of them and validities of the samene, or this present ratificatione therof, our said soverane lord, for himselfe and as father, laufull tutour, guydor and administratour to his hienes said darrest sone, the prince, for ther hiness and ther successoures, and estates of parliament hes dispensit and be thir presentes dispenses for evir.
