Act anente the disuniting of the kirk of Dennie from Falkirk

Our soverane lord and estates of parliament, haveing red and considerit the supplicatione givine in to the parliament be the commissioneres of the generall assemblie and be Maister Alexander Callender, minister at Dennie, and the elderes at the said kirke, makand mentione that the kirke of Dennie, being some fourtie yeeres since or therby dismembrit from the personage of Fallkirke, with consent of patrone and persone, in regaird the parochineres thairof being many and inclosit within the wateres of Carrone and Bonye and lyand four myles from Falkirke could not possiblie have the benefite of divyne service there, bot verie commodiouslie might and have bene the space foirsaid2 be thair owne pastores upoun meanes within themeselffes; lykeas this being represented to the generall assemblie, the generall assemblie, be thair act 27 August 1639 fand the supplicatiuone givine in to theme reassonable and referrit the samene to the parliament; and therfore desyreing his majestie and estates of parliament to establishe the said kirke of Dennie as ane kirke seperate and dismembrit from the personage of Falkirke, to enjoy all priviledges, liberties, emolumentes and enduementes whatsoevir competent to ane paroche kirke in tymecomeing, as the said supplicatione in the selfe proportes. Our said soverane lord and estates of parliament foirsaid hes established, and heerby establishes, the foirsaid kirke of Dennie as ane kirke seperat and dismembrit from the foirsaid personage of Faulkirke, and ordeanes and appoyntes the samene kirke and parochine of Dennie to enjoy all priviledges, liberties, emolumentes and enduementes whatsomever competent to ane paroche kirke in all tymecomeing.
