Ratificatione to Maister Johne Skeene

Our soverane lord and estates of this present parliament hes ratified, approvine and confirmed and, be the tennour heerof, for his hienes and his successoures, ratifies, approves and confirmes the chartour and infeftment granted be his majestie under his hienes great seale, of the dait at Whythall, the tuentie fourt day of Merch 1630 yeers, to his hienes lovite Maister Johne Skeene, one of the ordinar clerks of the colledge of justice, his aires and assigneyes whatsomever heritablie and irredeemablie, but ony reversione, redemptione or regres, off all and haill the landis and barrony of Hallyairdis, comprehending therin all and sindrie the landis of Hallyairdis with the principall messuage, maner place, houss, biggingis, yairdis, orchyairds, midowes and all ther pertinentes, and alse all and sindrie the landis and maynes of Hallbarnes, with there pertinentes, togidder with the teyndshaves and wtheres teyndis, rentes, fruites and emoluments, asweell personage as viccarage, of the saidis landis of Halyairdes and Hallbarnes respective therin includit, quhilkes were never seperat from the stocke and all ther pertinentes lyand within the barrony of Listoune and shereffdome of Edinburgh as for the principall; and sicklyke of all and haill the landis and barrony of Libbertoune, comprehending therin all and sindrie the toune and landis of Libbertoune and aucht oxingait of land of Murhouse, with the tour, fortalice, maner place, houss, biggingis, yairdis, orchyairdis and remanent pairtes and pendicles of the saidis lands of Libbertoun, mylne therof, mylnelandis, multours and sequelles of the samene, outseats, annexis, connexes, dependences, tennentes, tennendries, service of frie tennentes therof, and all there pertinentes, extending in the haill to ane fourtie pund land of old extent; and alse all and haill the toune and landis of Quothquonn and Corniestoune, with the mylne of Cothquonn, mylnelands, multours and sequelles thairof, commounties, pairtes, pendicles and all ther pertinentes, all lyand within the lordshipe and barrony of Carnewauche and shereffdome of Lanerke, and that in speciall clause of warrandyce and securitie to the said Maister Johne Skeene and his foirsaidis off all and sindrie the saidis landis of Hallyairdis and Hallbarnes respective, with the teyndis, teyndshaves thairof and wtheres respective with ther pertinentes foirsaidis, wnder the conditiones and provisiones allwayes in maner specified in the said infeftment, to be holdine of our soverane lord and his hienes successoures, viz: the saidis landis of Hallyairdis and Hallbarnes, with the teyndis includit, disponit as principall in few ferme and frie barrony for evir, for payment of ane yeerlie few duetie of ane hundreth merkes money of this realme, and the saidis landis of Libbertoun, Murhousse, Quothquonn and Cornestoune, with ther mylnes, disponed in warrandice in ane free barrony, callit the barrony of Libbertoune, for payment of ane yeerlie blenshe duetie of ane paire of reid hoise in maner conteyned in the saids infeftmentes, with the preceptes and instrumentes of seasing falloweing therwpoun, in the haill heids, clauss, articles and conditiones therof. And his majestie and estats willes and declaires that thir presents shall be alse valied and effectuall as if the said chartour, preceptes and instrumentes of seasing were insert word be word, quhairanent his majestie and estates be thir presentes dispenses. Attoure, our said soverane lord and estates of this present parliament willis and grantes and, for his hienes and his successoures foirsaidis, declaires, decernes and ordeenes that the saids chartour, infeftment, precept of seasing, with the seasing falloweing thairwpoun and this present ratificatione thairof, are and shall be sufficient rightes and securities to the said Maister Johne Skeene, his aires, successoures and assigneyes for ther peaceable possessing, bruiking and joysing of the saidis landis and barroneyes, both principall and warrandyce respective abovespecified, with the teyndshaves, alsweell personage as viccarage therof, includit, and otheres abovespecifit, with ther pertinentes, heritablie in maner conteyned in the said infeftment at there pleasoure in all tymecomeing, and conforme to the foirsaid chartoure and infeftment in all poyntes, notwithstanding of whatsomevir objections may be made in the contrair, quhilk his majestie and estates renunces for evir.
