Ratificatione to the Laird of Toftes

Our soverane lord, with the advyse and consent of the estates of this present parliament, hes ratified and approvine and, be thir presentes, ratifies and approves the chartor and infeftment made and granted be his majestie, with consent of his hienes thesaurer, thesaurer deput and remanent lordis of his majesties exchekker, wnder his hienes greate, seale to his majesties lovit Maister Alexander Belshes of Toftes, advocate, his aires and assigneyes whatsomever heritablie, off all and haill the landis of Eister and Wester Pleulandis, with houss, biggingis, yairdis, toftes, croftes, pairtes, pendicles and pertinentes therof whatsomever, lyand within the shereffdome of Berwicke, off the dait the tent day of Julii, the yeere of God jM vjC thertie sevine yeires, with the precept and instrument of seasing fallowing thereupon, togidder also with all and sindrie otheres infeftmentes, evidents, rightes and securities mad and granted to the said Maister Alexander Belshes, his predicessoures and authoures off and conserneing the landis and otheres abovespecified, with the pertinentes, of whatsomevir daites, tennoures or contentes the samene be of, in all and sindrie heedes, clauss, articles and conditiones conteyned thairintill efter the forme and tennor thairof in all poyntes. Lykeas our said soverane lord and estates of parliament willis and declaires that this present ratificatioun is and shall be alse valied and efffectuall as if the foirsaids chartoures, infeftmentes and others wrettes heerby ratified wer insert ad longum et verbatum heirintill, quhairanent our said soverane lord and estates foirsaidis dispenses for evir.
