Ratificatione to Williame Maxwell of Kirkehouse

Our soverane lord, with advyse and consent of the estates of this present parliament, be thir presentes, ratifies and approves the infeftment wnder the great seale mad be his majesties wmquhill darrest father, with advyse and consent of his comptroller and generall collectour of his majesties new augmentationes for the tyme, therinnominat to his hienes lovit Williame Maxwell of Kirkehous therinspecified heritablie, of all and haill the landis of Justing Leyes, with medowes, pairtes, pendicles and pertinentes of the same, the kirklandis of Kirkepatrike Fleming extending to ten aikeres of land, togidder with the advocatione, donatione and right of patronage of the kirke and haill viccarage of the paroche kirke of Kirkebene, with the teyndis, fruites, rentes and emolumentes whatasomevir perteyneing and belonging to the said viccarage, all lyand within the stewartrie of Kirkecudbright and shereffdome of Drumfreis, with the precept and instrument of seasing falloweing therwpoun, and the act of parliament made in the parliament holdine at Edinburghe, the fourt day of August 1621 yeeres, ratifieing the said chartour wnder the great seale in all poyntes, articles and clauss therinconteend, efter the formes and tennors therof, and declaires, statutes and ordeanes that this present ratificatione of the chartor, precept, instrument of seasing and act of parliament abovementionat is and shall be alse valied in all respectes as if the samene chartor, precept, instrument of seasing and act of parliament abovespecified were at lenth and word be word insert and ingrossit heirintill, dispensand heerby with the not inserting therof. And sicklyke his majestie, with advyse and consent foirsaid, findis, declares, statutes and ordeanes that the said chartour, precept and instrument of seasing falloweing therwpon, and the former ratificatione therof in parliament, and this present new ratificatione of the samene, are and shall be sufficient, valide and laufull rightes and securities to the said Williame Maxwell and his foirsaidis for the peaceable bruikeing and joysing in all tymecomeing of the landis, teyndis, patronages and otheres abovespecified thairinconteyned, conforme to the said chairtour and for payment of the duetie thairinconteint, notwithstanding of his majesties revocatione, ratificatione therof in this present parliament and all other lawes, statutes and constitutiones made or to be made in the contrair, quhairanent his majestie, with advyse and consent foirsaid, dispenses in that pairt for evir.
