Warrant: regarding the remainder of the treaty
Warrand to the secreet counsell for giveing instructiones to the commissionares for the remainder of the treattee
The quhilk day the kingis majestie and estates of parliament, considering that ther is ane commissione granted in this present parliament to the persones nominate and appoynted be the act of commissione granted theranent, to conveene with the commissioneres choysine or to be choysine be his majestie, with consent of the parliament of England, and to consulte, advyse, treate and agree upon the speciall heedis and articles mentionat in the said commissione, and that ther is not instructiones set doune be the parliament to the saidis commissioneres, therfore his majestie and estates of parliament hes givine and granted, and gives and grantes, power and warrand to the lordis and otheres of his hienes secreet counsell for draweing wpe instructiones to be givine to the saidis commissioneres anent ther proceeding in the foirsaid treattee with the Englishe commissioneres, conforme to the foirsaid commissione granted to them theranente.2
