Act for siting doune of the sessione the fourt of Januar nixt

Forsameikle as his majestie, with the advyse and approbatione of the estates of parliament, hes nou nominat and elected the fyfteene ordinar and four extraordinar lordis of the sessione and senate of the colledge of justice, for administracion of justice to all his majesties leiges of this his majesties ancient and native kingdome conforme to the fundacion and erectione of that soverane judicatorie, therfor his majestie and estates of parliament commandis and ordeanes the saidis lordes, ordinare and extraordinar, of the said sessione and senate of the colledge of justice now nominat and elected as said is, with the whole officeres and memberes of that judicatorie, to conveene and sit doune in sessioune at Edinburgh the fourt day of Januari nixtocome for administrcion of justice to all the lieges at the tymes and according to accustomed order of that judicatorie. And for the bettir notificatione heirof to the saidis lordis and memberes of the colledge of justice and all otheres his hines leiges whom it consernes ordeanes publict proclamatione to be made heirof by the lyoun or his brethren, the herauldis, at the mercat croce of Edinburgh be sound of trumpets; quhairanent thir presentes, subscryved be the president of the parliament, at command of the king and parliament, shall be ane sufficient warrand.
