Ordinance concerneing the maisseres of counsall and sessione

The quhilk day the estates of parliament, haveing takine to there consideracion the mutuall supplicationes givine in to the parliament from the Erle Mershall and from the maisseires of counsell and sessione anent there libertie of staying within the house of parliament, with the whole reasones givine in hinc inde for the same, and haveing heard the maisseires viva voce, the saidis estates ordeanes the maisseirs to stay without the doores of the parliament hous and attend there till they be callit in to receive ther directiones from the president or clerkis, and allowes the Erle Mershall only to have a servant within the house who shall call in the maissers be directione, and appoyntes the maisseires only to attend all committies bot not the Erle Mershalls servandis.
