Procedure: protest

The Laird of Cambo, commissionar for Fyffe, declaired that albeit he acquieschit to the place and ranke wherin he is now put onlie for this tyme and for ane peaxible and quyet end, and yet he desyrit that the same should be without prejudice to the shyre of that place and ranke due to the shyre of Fyffe at ane other tyme.
