Patrike Bell, proveist and commissioner for Glasgow, desyrit and protestit that the ordering of the house appoynting burrowes to sit as they are called be the roll of burrowes may onlie be restrict to this present parliament, and that in respect the samene is onlie set doune be the present clerke of the burrowes without warrand and for the most pairt contrair to other rollis and former clerkis and in direct prejudice of the place due to the said burghe, quherwpon Patrike Bell, commissioner foirsaid, asked instrumentis, and protestit for ane due and competent place ane uther tyme.
