Parliamentum dicti excellentissimi principis Caroli Dei gratia Scotia, Anglia, Franciae et Hiberniae Regis fideique defensoris, haldine at Edinburghe, the ellevinth day of Junii 1640 yeires, be the foirsaidis estates of parliament, conveened by his majesties speciall indictione and authoritie, wnacum officiariis parliamenti, viz: the Earle of Kinghorne for the constable, the Erle of Rothes for the Mershell and Johne Whyte, dempster, present.
