[Supplication recommended to the king; supplication approved and exception from act granted]
Supplicatioune by the Laird of Kinhilt, craving the forfaltors and fynes past against him in Ireland for subscryving the covenant may be rescindit, recommendit to the commissioneris grace to be represented to his majestie.
Supplicatione by the2 indwellers upon Tweid and Annand, craving exceptione from the act of parliament 1606 and the act of parliament now maid anent clos tyme, and that the same may be proroged whill the last day of September in respect the fishing continewis so long upon the Inglish syde, red, voited and past in articles and ordained to be excepted in the act of this present parliament.

Anent the article for discharge of coyning and importing of copper money3, the importatione of copper money is prohibited under the pane of the importer his death or other personall punishment, pecuniall fyne or confiscatione of his guds as the counsale shall find the fault to demerite. And for the remedeing the evill of the present abundance of that coyne, ordains each estate to speik apart upon the valew quhairunto turnours ar to be decryed and dischargis presentlie the course of all false turnours, and ordanis the strykouris of all false turnours to be punished with death. And Jhone Smith to cause draw up the act.
Anent the supplicatione gevin in by the Lady Luss craving that Balvie, who hes intrometted with the estate, may intertaine the haill children, the Laird of Balvie being cited and compeirand desyred libertie to bring advocatis to answer the supplicatione. The commissioneris general appointis both parteis to bring thair advocatis efternoone.
