Act in favour of the kirk of Eymouth

Oure soverane lord, with advyse and consent of his hienes thrie estates of parliament, hes ratifiet and approvine and, be the tennor heirof, ratifies and approves the letter and gift of dissolutione and erectione grantit be oure soverane lords umquhile darrest father of eternall memorie, wnder his hienes great seale, of the dait the tuentie sevint day of Januar, jM vjC and auchteine yeirs, whairby his majestie, with advyse and consent of the lords of his hienes secreit counsall of the kingdome of Scotland, dissolved and dismemberit fra the paroche kirk and parochine of Coldinghame and fundatione thairof all and haill the towne of Eymouth, with all lands, aikers, tenements and cottages thairof, togider with the mylne of the samyne, with the lands now callit Beinrighous lyand within the territorie of the said towne of Eymouth, togider lykwayes with all uther lands, pairts, pendicles and pertinents quhatsumever of the said towne of Eymouth within the bounds, jurisdictione and territorie thairof, and than creat and erectit the kirk biggit in the said towne of Eymouth in ane frie paroche kirk to be callit in all tyme heirefter the paroche kirk of Eymouth, sua that the induellers and inhabitants thairof sould nawayes thaireftir be astricted to the paroche kirk of Coldinghame nor discipline thairof in no tyme thaireftir; and than willit, ordanit and decernit that the said kirk of Eymouth sould have, bruik and injoy the lyk priveledges, liberties and immwnities as the said paroche kirk of Coldinghame, fra the quhilk the samyne was dissolved, had and bruikit be the fundatione thairof in any tyme bygaine, with power to the inhabitants and parichioners of the said kirk of Eymouth and minister thairof, present and to come, to elect elders and deacones and to keip thair sessiones for conserving of discipline and good order in all things belonging thairto als frilie in all respects as any uther paroche kirk hes or may use in the lyk, and thairfor discharging the minister, elders and deacones of the said kirk of Coldinghame of all ceitting and conveining befor thame of the parichioners and inhabitants of the parochine of Eymouth, or any of thame, or any wayes proceiding againes thame for thair not compeirance, as the said letter and gift of dissolutione and erectione at mair lenth beirs, in the haill heads, articles, priveledges and conditiones of the samyne, conforme to the tennor thairof in all pointes. And als our said soverane lord, with advyse and consent of his majesties estates of parliament forsaidis, renunces simpliciter all actione and instance competent to his majestie or his hienes successors for reduicing and annulling of the forsaid letter and gift of dissolutione and erectioune of the said paroche kirk of Eymouth in any tyme coming. And farder, oure said soverane lord and thrie estates of parliament forsaidis, considering the necessitie of the forsaid dissolutione and erectione of the forsaid kirk of Eymouth in ane severall and frie paroche kirk and cure fra the said paroche kirk and parochine of Coldingham, quhairof it was ane pendicle of befor in respect of the far distance of the said towne of Eymouth fra the paroche kirk of Coldinghame, thairfor, oure said soverane lord and thrie estates of parliament of new dissolves all and haill the forsaid towne of Eymouth and all lands, aikers, tenements, cottages and mylne of the samyn, with the lands now callit Beinrighous lyand within the territorie of the said towne, togider with all uther lands, pairts, pendicles and pertinents thairof quhatsumever lyand within the bounds, jurisdictione and territorie of the samyne fra the forsaid paroche kirk and parochine of Coldinghame and fundatione thairof, and of new creatts and erects the said kirk of Eymouth in ane frie paroche kirk to the inhabitants thairof to be callit in all tyme heireftir the paroche kirk of Eymouth, with the haill priveledges, immwnities and liberties befor rehearsit, contenit in the former letter of dissolutione and erectione abonementionat, and ordaines thir presents to be inacted and registrat in the buikes of parliament.
