Act in favour of Maister Williame Cwnighame of Brooniehill

Oure soverane lord, remembring the good, trew and thankfull service maid and done to his majestie and his most noble progenitors be Maister William Cwnighame of Brownehill and his predicessors, with advyse and consent of the thrie estates of this present parliament, hes ratifiet, allowit, approvine and confirmit and, be the tennor heirof, with consent forsaid, ratifies, allowes, approves and confirmes the chartor and infeftment maid, givin and grantit be Maister Walter Quhytefurd, minister of Failfurd, to the said Maister Williame Cwnighame of Brownhill, his airs and assignais quhatsumever heretablie, of all and sundrie the lands of Brownehill, Byrehill, Spittlesyd, Bourtrie, Mailling and of the uthers lands, teinds, office of bailliarie and uthers exprest and sett downe in the said chartor, quhilk chartor is of the dait at Edinburgh, the nynteine day of December, the yeir of God j^M vj^C tuentie aucht yeirs, with the precept of sasing thairincontenit and instrument of seasing following thairupon, and with all uthers chartors, infeftments, precepts, instruments of seasing, confirmationes, new giftes and uthers richtes, titles and secuirities quhatsumever maid and grantit to the said Maister Williame Cwnighame of Brownhill, or to any of his predicessors or authors, of and concerning the lands and uthers contenit in the said chartor, with the pertinents or any pairt thairof, of quhatsumever dait or daits, tennor or contents the samyne be of, in all and sundrie heads, articles, clauses, conditiones and circumstances thairof quhatsumever, willing and declaring this present generall ratificatioun to be als valeid, effectuall and sufficient to the said Maister Williame Cwnighame of Brownhill, his airs and assignais, for thair securitie of the lands and uthers contenit in the said chartor, as if the forsaidis chartors, infeftments, precepts, instruments of sasing, confirmationes, new giftes and uthers wreatts, speciall and generall, forsaidis and everie ane of thame, wer at lenth heirin insert and heirby ratifiet in speciall; quhairanent his majestie, for himselff and his hienes successors, with consent forsaid, hes dispensit and, be thir presents, dispenses for ever.
