Act in favours of the Lord of Lorne

Oure soverane lord, with advyse and consent of the thrie estates of this present parliament, ratifies and approves the commissioun grantit be the lords of his majesties secreit counsall, of the dait the tuentie ane day of Apryll, the yeir of God j^M vj^C and tuentie fyve yeirs, to Archibald, lord of Lorne and certane his friends thairin nominat againes the rebells thairin namit of the Clane Eane and all thair assistars and complices; as also the act maid in presens of the saidis lords of his majesties secreit counsall of the dait the tuentie aucht day of July, the said yeir of God j^M vj^C and tuentie fyve yeirs, quhairby the saidis lords (inrespect of ane report in wreatt givin in befor thame be the said Archibald, lord of Lorne of his haill proceidings in the executioun of the said commissioun) fand and declarit that the said Archibald, lord of Lorne did verie worthielie and dewtifullie behaive and carie himselff in the executioun of the said commissioun and thairby ansuerit the trust and creditte quhilk was reposite in him and, thairfor, ratifiet and approvit and allowit the said lord of Lorne his haill proceidings in his service forsaid, and dischairgit him thairof in all pointes, articles and clauses thairin contenit, eftir the formes and tennors thairof, and declares and ordaines this present ratificatioun thairof to be als guid and sufficient in all respects as if the samyne war at lenth and word be word insert and ingrost heirintill, dispensand heirby with the not inserting thairof in this present ratificatioun. And lykwayes his majestie, with advyse and consent forsaid, be thir presents of new, ratifies, approves and allowes the said Archibald, lord of Lorne and his saidis freinds thair haill proceidings in the service forsaid and exoners and dischairges him and his saidis freinds of thair haill proceidings in the said service and in the executioun of the forsaid commissioun for now and ever, ordaining thir presents to be ane sufficient warrand to the clerk of register and his deputtes for extending of ane act of parliament heirupon in dew and competent forme.
