Act in favour of the Lord of Lorne

Oure soverane lord, with advyse and consent of the thrie estates of this present parliament, ratifies and approves the thrie chartors eftirmentionat, with the precepts and instruments of sasing following thairupon, viz: the first thairof maid and grantit be his majesties umquhile darrest father of eternall memorie wnder his hienes great seale to Archibald, lord of Lorne, his airs male and assignais quhatsumever, of the lands and uthers thairin specifiet thairby unit in ane baronie callit the baronie of Ardnamurchane, of the dait at Stirling, the nynt day of Marche, the yeir of God j^M vj^C and tuentie fvye yeirs; the second of the saidis chartors maid and grantit be his majestie wnder the great seale to the said Archibald, lord of Lorne and his forsaidis of the lands and uthers thairinmentionat thairby unit in ane baronie callit the baronie of Balvill, of the dait at Halyrudhous, the fyft day of August, the yeir of God j^M vj^C and threttie yeirs; and the thride of the saidis chartors maid and grantit be his majestie wnder his hienes great seale to the said Archibald, lord of Lorne and his forsaidis of the lands and uthers thairin specifiet thairby unit in ane baronie callit the baronie of Gyga, of the dait at Halyrudhous, the fourt day of Februar, the yeir of God j^M vj^C and threttie tua yeirs in all and sundrie pointes, articles and clauses thairin contenit eftir the forme and tennor thairof, quhilks thrie chartors war all schawin and produicit befor his majestie and the estates of this present parliament. Lykas his majestie, with advyse and consent forsaid, declares, statuites and ordaines that this present ratificatioun of the saidis thrie chartors and of the precepts and instruments of sasing following thairupon is and sall be als guid and sufficient in all respects as if the samyne wer at lenth insert heirintill, dispensing heirby with the not inserting thairof in this present ratificatioun. And lykwayes that the saidis thrie chartors or infeftments, with the precepts and instruments of seasing following thairupon and this present ratificatioun thairof, ar, and sall be, sufficient, valide and lawfull richts and secuirities to the said Archibald, lord of Lorne and his forsaidis, for the peacible bruiking and joysing of the lands and uthers abone specifiet, conforme to the tennors of the saidis chartors and for the dewties thairin contenit, ordaining thir presents to be ane sufficient warrand to the clerk of register and his deputtes for extending of ane act of parliament heirupon in dew and competent forme.
