Act in favours of the Earle of Annandaill

Oure soverane lord, with advyse and consent of the thrie estates of this present parliament, be thir presents ratifies and approves the letter of gift maid and grantit be his majestie wnder the privie seale of the dait at Hamptoun Court, the second day of October, jM vjC and threttie yeirs, quhairby his majestie gave, grantit and disponit to his hienes richt traist cowsigne and counsallour Johne, earle of Annandaill, vicount of Annand, lord Murray of Lochmaben, during all the dayes of his lyftyme, and to James, lord Annand, his eldest lawfull sone, and to ather of thame successive during all the dayes of thair lyftymes, the keiping of the hilles and lomounthes of Falkland, with the mure callit the New Park adjacent thairto within the haill bounds, meithes and merches thairof, mentionat in the said letters of gift, togider with the haill pairts, pendicles and pertinents of the saidis hills and mures lyand within the shirefdome of Fyffe, with the priveledges and liberties thairin mentionat in all and sundrie pointes, heads, articles and clauses thairincontenit eftir the forme and tenors thairof, and declairs, statuits and ordaines this present ratificatioun thairof is, and sall be, als valide and lawfull in all respects as if the samyn wer at lenth insert heirin, dispensand heirby with the not inserting thairof. And siclyk finds, declairs, statuits and ordaines that the saidis letters of gift and this present ratificatioun thairof ar, and sall be, sufficient richt and secuiritie to the said Earle of Annandaill and his said sone, the langest leivar of thame tua, for the peacible bruiking and joysing of the forsaid office, with the priveledges and liberties thairof mentionat in the saidis letters of gift during the space aboneexpremit.
