Act in favour of Alexander, lord Gairleis

Oure soverane lord, with advyse and consent of the estates of this realme convenit togider in parliament, hes ratifiet and approvin and be thir presents ratifies and approves ane chartor maid and grantit be his majestie to and in favours of his hienes traist cowsigne Alexander, lord Gairleis, of the dait the tuentie sax day of Marche jM vC and threttie ane yeirs, of all and haill the lands of Borrowmers, Culquhork, Braidfield, Claucharie, Crevenny, Galloushill and medow, callit Phillip Medow, with mylnes, wodes2, fischings, multors and sequells thairof and fischings in the fluide of Blaidnoche and pertinents of the samyne, lyand within the parochine and shirefdome of Wigtoun, togider with the precept and instrument of seasing following thairupon and haill richts quhairupon the samyne proceidit in the haill heids, articles, clauses, circumstances and conditiones thairof. And oure said soverane lord, with advyse and consent of the estates of this realme, decernes and ordaines that the said infeftment and richts quhairupon the samyne proceidit of the lands, mylnes, wodes, fischings and uthers abonewrittine, grantit to the said Alexander, lord Gairleis in maner forsaid ar, and sall be in all tyme coming, sufficient richts and grounds and titles quhairby he and his saidis airs male and assignais quhatsumever sall bruik, joyse and posseses the samyne in all tyme coming, and declairs this present confirmatioun and ratificatioun of the said infeftment to be als good, valide and effectuall as if the samyne had beine at lenth insert in this present ratificatioun. And his majestie, with consent forsaid, dispenses heirby thairwith for ever, and ordaines thir presents to be ane sufficient warrand for making of ane act in the said parliament conforme to the order usit in the lyke.
