Anent the petitioun of the small barronis and commissionaris for the burrowis whairby thay craved ane discharge of penall statutes, with the reservationis and exceptionis contenit in the act of parliament haldin in August 1621, the estaittis ar humble supplicantis to his majestie that thair desire may be grantit, the thesaurair protesting that the concealaris of moneyis and the Earle of Murray protesting that the ressettaris of the Clanchattane and the comfortaris of thame in thair rebellioun may be lykewayis exceptit.
