Anent the procureing of officeis by brybrie
That it be enacted that whosoever hath procured office of estate, place in sessioun or ony other place or office whatsoever by bryberie ather of money, land or by secureing a pairt of that whiche of right belongeth to the said office or place, in that caise the place or office so purchased salbe foirfeytted to ws and be at oure dispositioin. And whosoever sall acquire office or place in sessioun heirafter by suche or the like unlaughfull meanis, the same to be likewayes foirfeyted to ws.
