Order: concerning absence from parliament
Anent the attendance of the members of parliament
The estates of parliament statute and ordain that no member of parliament shall leave or desert the parliament without licence craved and granted. Likewise the whole members of parliament present promised to obey the aforesaid ordinance. As also the estates ordain letters to be written to those shires and burghs who have not chosen their commissioners to this parliament to elect and choose their commissioners and send them to the parliament authorised with commissions from their burghs and shires.
