Orders to Doctor Mayne
The estates ordain and command Doctor Mayne in Glasgow to go along with the forces that are presently going to the borders as physician to these forces, and that he be ready to come out to the general rendezvous as he shall receive orders from [William Hamilton], earl of Lanark, and allowance shall be granted to him by the public.
