2Ratification in favour of Sir Alexander Gibson of Durie, one of the senators of the college of justice
Our sovereign lord and estates of parliament ratify and approve and, for his highness and his successors, perpetually confirm the charter and infeftment granted to Sir Alexander Gibson of Durie, knight, one of the ordinary senators of the college of justice, his heirs and assignees, of the lands and barony of Durie, whole parts, pendicles, pertinents and lands united thereto; and of the lands of Clattie, privileges and pertinents thereof, with the express privilege and right of pasturage upon the common of Dovan in all parts and manner of holding contained in the particular infeftments granted to the said Sir Alexander of the said lands respectively; and of the lands and barony of Scoonie and Leven, of the lands of Balgrummo, burgh of barony of Leven, whole liberties, privileges, salmon fishings, harbour, haven, port upon both sides of the water of Leven, and privilege and sole liberty of cobles upon the said water, and right of having mills upon the said water, and all the other privileges contained in any of the said Sir Alexander's infeftments of any of the said lands respectively granted relating thereto, and will and ordain this present ratification to be as effectual as if the said whole infeftments were at length word for word inserted herein.
